FELTWELL DOG WALKING
1-2-1 Dog Walking I will come to your house to meet you and your dog to discuss what you need from me, this is a free service and crucial to ensure I understand all your own and your dogs needs, I am willing to join you in a walk to see how your dog behaves.
I understand how a lot of dogs do not like or feel comfortable with other dogs, hence the 1-2-1 service I offer. The forest rides means you can avoid other dogs, which is great for fearful dogs.
If your dog needs 1-2-1 walks then the cost will be £12 a walk for 1 hr.
I can walk your dogs in a very small group (max 3) if you prefer £10 per hour, this can be very good for dogs who are not good at recall as when first letting your dog off the lead it really helps if they play with other dogs who do come back when called.
I will NEVER let your dog off its lead/ flexi lead until both you and I are happy they are ok. Infact many of the dogs I walk cannot be let off, but they still have a great time on a flexi lead. I attach strong dogs to my dog walking belt to ensure I keep them safe and secure. I recommend them as they give you extra piece of mind and lets your hands be free.
One of my two young dogs despite my best efforts is fearful of strange dogs, she is proving a challenge but slowly adapting and accepting new dogs. There is no point stressing her out by pushing her into situations she is not comfortable with. She was always anti social from her birth, so I just have to accept that she will always be that way. We avoid other dogs.
I walk my dogs both on and off the lead with varying degrees of success, where I used to live in the summer the tourists liked to picnic in the sand dunes! Hopefully there will be less tourists having picnics in this bit of the forest!
I will walk your dog exactly where you want me to and how you want me to.
So if your dog runs off and his recall is poor I will keep him on a lead albeit a flexi lead so he can have a nice walk exploring but remain safe.
My dogs wear a halti head collar which I recommend for long nosed dogs especially if your dog pulls you around, please ask and I can explain how they work.
This is Pip, she is a lovely Staffie, she loves people and is very friendly, but she is not keen on other dogs.
She is a perfect example of the type of dog who likes walkies on her own.
Please ask if you have specific requirements for your dogs.
